**Position Description:**

Ensures the timely shipping and delivery of finished trucks to customers, Maintains and facilitates timely order of drive away to support production completion. Provides a communication and logistics link between operations and purchasing to ensure we are issuing Purchase Orders to drive way in a timely manner. Responsible for scheduling drive away based communicating all variances with concerned parties.


+ Coordinate Shipping of finished trucks to end users

+ Work with Drive Away companies to minimize the time it takes to pick up and deliver finished trucks

+ Develop and maintain relationships with multiple drive away companies to minimize time from completion to delivery.

+ Ability of negotiate rates when needed to resolve shipping issues.

+ Completion of Bill Of Ladings, and other shipping documents needed to ship all trucks.

+ Understanding of Revenue Recognition

+ Understanding and use of Shipping and Inco terms

+ Ability to think fast, and quickly resolve issues.

+ Formulation and distribution of Shipping Authorizations to ship "ship loose" parts to the customers.

+ Works with sales team to provide accurate shipping information to customers and works with them to resolve any issues in shipping.

+ Coordinate demo moves as needed

+ Ensure that all documentation for demo moves is complete and documented.

+ Work with Marketing and Customer Responsiveness to coordinate moves for shows and to support service schools.

+ Acts as primary liaison within Production Control; facilitating on time delivery of finished trucks to customer while helping to maintain production schedule adherence.

+ Reviews and assists with the execution of the master production schedules and material planning; confers with Production Team Members.

+ Establishes and maintains positive working relationships with all customers.

+ Directly support the Production group in daily transactions and troubleshooting of issues to improve inventory accuracy.

+ Knowledge and skills surrounding material flow and inventory control within a production system.

+ Requires superb communication skills in both oral and written formats.

+ Basic knowledge of

+ Must have excellent PC skills and demonstrated proficiency in the use of Excel and Word.

+ Requires the ability to learn and carry out all aspects of the position; to coordinate shipping schedules with multiple teams; to solve urgent problems associated with the shipping of products

+ Requires the ability to learn and execute the techniques associated with Kanban systems.

+ Promote and maintain a safe and organized workplace

+ Performs other duties as requested and overtime as necessary.

+ Within a manufacturing environment which may require extended periods of time in walking or standing position. This position may also require moving materials weighing up to 40 pounds.


**Basic Qualifications:**

+ High School diploma or accredited equivalent

+ 1 year of MRP experience

+ 1 years of experience with MS Office - Excel, Word, email

**Preferred Qualifications:**

+ Associate degree in a related field or 2 years' experience in shipping and production control.

+ Strong orientation toward quality, safety, and continuous improvement

+ Demonstrated aptitude for tracking changes in data and analyzing data to make recommendations

+ Enthusiasm for working "hands-on" in a manufacturing environment

+ Demonstrated problem solving skills

+ Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, computer and math)

+ Previous leadership experience a plus

+ Commitment to safety, quality and the principles of Lean Manufacturing.
